ITM committee members are in alignment with Edie Campbell’s perspective of “Tone Policing” which is against the grain for marginalized people in the case of applause and recognition issues when family member cross a thresh-hold never reached by previous family members. We agree, in these situations , that there should be affirmation and it should be heard.
